Title: Weaponizing "Weaknesses": Embracing Neurodiversity In Your Organization

Cost: Free to All Pass Types

Description:

Society is becoming much more aware of neurodiversity as we study the human brain and how it functions. Often viewed as a weakness by many, neurodivergent conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders can actually bring unique capabilities and talents to the table in your own organization. They may even be powering you.

Research estimates that more than half of all entrepreneurs have dyslexia or ADHD. Many adults with neurodivergent conditions also go undiagnosed. Understanding the unique traits and talents that are beneath the surface of different neurodivergences can bring innovative thinking, vision, and resilience. Knowing how to work with neurodiverse people or how to embrace your own could be the shot in the arm that your business truly needs.

Jonathan Lorbacher weighs in on both the strengths neurodiversity can bring and the challenges that must be overcome in dealing with them, from the perspective of someone who found out that they were neurodivergent as an adult.
