Event Information

Title: Women Leading in Advocacy

Description:

Amber Reyna and Caryn Gilliam will lead an discussion about female leaders and participation in government advocacy and how their visit, their voices, and their visions are paving the way to emerge more female leaders to join in our advocacy efforts. Reyna and Gilliam want to bring in the ISSA Hygieia Network to the local/federal government level, and help show others how to start, where to go, and how to join. They were part of ISSA’s Government Advocacy Committee that met with EPA, Post Pandemic, and Immigration in Washing D.C. Carroll assisted ISSA in securing six additional states before the event. They want to draw more individuals to understand that they are ensuring a seat at the table for our industry. Pennsylvania had two face-to-face meetings this year, and they want to show others how to expand that.
