Vogenthaler, Mary

Mary Vogenthaler is the Director of Environmental Services for Oakcrest-DeKalb Area Retirement Center, a single site, not for profit, Continuous Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located on a 30-acre campus in DeKalb, Illinois.

Mary has over 40 years of experience in a long-term care setting with the past 35 in her current capacity. In addition to managing all aspects of EVS, Mary also serves as the organization’s Safety Coordinator which allows her to work very closely with other Healthcare Partners throughout the Northern Illinois Region, OSHA, IDPH and CMS.

Mary holds an A.S. degree from Kishwaukee College with an emphasis on Business/Marketing. She has been a member of I.E.H.A. since 1993 and became a Registered Member in 2006. She has served I.E.H.A. in several positions on the chapter level and as a national council member.

Mary enjoys motorcycling, snowmobiling, traveling, and most of all spending time with family and friends just making memories.
