Matt Molinaro is senior program leader of Research and Development (R&D) at Ecolab. In his role, Molinaro establishes new ways to improve public health through innovative cleaning programs. Molinaro has over 17 years of experience in R&D at Ecolab and has created new products and best practice protocols for floor finishes, kitchen cleaners and sanitizers, laundry detergents, and dilution equipment.
Throughout his career at Ecolab, Molinaro has helped establish and bring to life sustainability and public health strategies for Ecolab’s customers and has led development teams across the world. He has contributed to standards including the WRI Scope 3 emissions standards, Earthcheck Global tourism standards , and Green Seal product standards, and spoken on panels for the Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI), EE Global, and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA). Molinaro was featured in Minnesota Business Magazine describing Ecolab’s design approach for sustainability. He is named on 3 patents for chemical and equipment designs. Molinaro holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
