Tom Stewart is a renowned figure in the house cleaning industry with over two decades of experience in enhancing and upgrading the industry for cleaning business owners and their clients. 

As the CEO of Castle Keepers House Cleaning, Stewart developed MaidCentral, a software designed to support the professional management of house cleaning companies. MaidCentral enhances employee engagement, ensures consistency and quality management, and boosts profits through the automation of repetitive tasks and increased productivity.

Stewart was a founding member and Past President of the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI) in the early 2000s, aimed at creating a community of house cleaning business owners and promoting the professionalization of the industry. 

Together with his wife Janice, Stewart established ModernCleaning.com, a digital platform dedicated to promoting hygienic cleaning and other professional house cleaning practices. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Modern Cleaning launched an eLearning platform to provide online training, including COVID-19 safety training and the ARCSI Professional House Cleaning (PHC) Certification Program. 

Stewart co-authored the Professional House Cleaning Technician’s Manual and Modern Cleaning: The Evolution of Chemical-Free Cleaning. Additionally, he is a co-founder and partner in Cleaning Business Today, an online magazine for the house cleaning industry, and a co-owner of industry-related digital publications Housekeeping Channel and Health House Institute.
